In the Execution Lab you'll co-design and build execution systems to reduce friction, improve delivery flow, and fast-track your way to a testable prototype.
You know what needs to be done.
The strategy is clear. The goals are set. Everyone’s nodding in meetings.
And yet...
Execution lags. Handoffs drop. Progress crawls.
The problem isn’t your people. It’s the systems (or lack of them).
The Execution Lab is a hands-on, high-energy workshop run over 2 consecutive days designed to help teams design, prototype, and test new ways of working (and executing!) together.
There is a little bit of theory but mostly this is a get-it-done-in-the-room kind of workshop.
Map How Work Really Happens - Unpack your team’s current workflows, handoffs, and decision patterns. Surface friction points and flow blockers—together.
Frame the Right Problems - Zoom in on the most critical breakdowns in execution. Prioritise which systems, rituals, or processes need a redesign.
Generate Smarter Solutions - Use rapid co-design techniques to sketch and shape new ways of working, including better workflows, tools, templates, and rhythms.
Make Bold Decisions, Fast - Narrow down your ideas to the strongest contenders. Align on what to build and test right away without endless debates and discussion traps.
Prototype Real Execution Tools - Create simple, scrappy, testable versions of your new systems, ready for immediate use in your team’s context.
Test, Refine & Commit - Pressure-test your prototypes in the room. Capture what works, tweak what doesn’t, and leave with a clear plan to embed them.
In person works best, but it can absolutely be run in a hybrid or fully-virtual format, if your team is remote or distributed across different locations.
By combining proven tools with hands-on facilitation, this workshop gives your team the space, structure, and support to redesign how work actually gets done and delivered together.
It’s not theory. It’s not training. It’s real problems, solved in real time, using the most credible and impactful methods out there.
A shared understanding of what’s really slowing execution
A mapped view of your current delivery flow, and a better one to work with
Co-designed execution tools, rituals, and check-in systems
Prototypes you’ve already tested and refined
Clear ownership, roles, and next steps
A team that feels capable, confident, and in sync
They’ve already bought in.
The Execution Lab doesn’t just fix broken processes. This is not a process improvement workshop.
In the lab, you'll keep what's working and co-design and build new tools, processes and systems - right there in the room, with your people - that meaningfully help you execute better.
And it does it fast.
Two days. One sprint. Real traction, built on a foundation of over 15 years experience helping teams co-design better ways of working.
Brief 15-minute conversations with your program leaders and team members (as required) prior to the workshop
2 x 45-minute conversations with you (the project or program manager) prior to the workshop to ensure we're accelerating together in a way that is both comfortable and effective
2 x 45-minute coaching sessions with you (the project or program manager) after the workshop to support follow-through and implementation
